- i used the rectangle tool and enlarged it to cover all the paper
- i put no stroke and filled it in black
- clicked the type tool
- typed I STUDIO and changed it to white
- enlarge it
- clicked "character"
- put all caps
- change the font to "impact"
- go to object then click expand
- check if the object and the fill is ticked.. if so then just click OK
- use the pen tool and put lines across each letter in different ways as you like
- don't forget to put fill as none and the stroke as black
- after you're done... go to object and ungroup the letters
- remove the pieces unwanted
- then click the piece you want and if you want a piece of each letter with the same colour
- click one piece of a then click shift and click other pieces
- change colour
- change the background
- i chose an image

- select the type tool.
- use the control panel to alter the font and the size of the text.
- use the area tool which allows you to place the text inside of any shape.
- draw a path with any equipment to be able to use the "type on a path tool" first.
- use the line segment tool to draw a path.
- select the vertical type tool to be able to text on the line.
- chose urban art
- look at examples
- select the type tool
- use the gradient
- use the control panel to change the font
- select the white arrow
- organise the pieces of shapes.
- use different shapes e.g. circles, rectangles etc.
- expand it
- use gradient to colour in
- use all the tools that are related to the width tool
- Open adobe illustrator - new
- use ellipse tool to make a shape
- increase the "stroke"
- go to window and press "pathfinder"
- select all of the shapes
- then use the pathfinder- expand

- file-new
- place image to trace
- image trace panel from window menu
- preview
- experiment with slider
- turn off preview
- expand in ption panel
- live paint object (option + command + X keys)
- press letter K for life paint bucket (drop colour)
